Welcome to the Queen Mary English Department Postgraduate Research Seminar!

This is a weekly research seminar that takes place on Thursdays during the first and second semesters of the academic year. It takes place in the George Steiner Seminar Room in the Lock-Keeper’s Cottage on Queen Mary’s Mile End campus and usually begins at 5.15pm.

Seminars are led by speakers from a number of academic institutions, who come to discuss their current research-in-progress with the staff and postgraduate students in the English Department. The papers are followed by a question and answer session, a drinks reception in the Lock-keeper’s Common Room, and dinner in a local restaurant.

You can find details of our programme on these pages. Please feel free to contact us if you require any further information.

We look forward to seeing you at the next seminar!
